What do you get when you mix Democratic fat-cat donations, Big Labor favors, pharmaceutical lobbying and Beltway business as usual? Answer: another toxic half-billion-dollar Barack Obama-approved crony deal. Move over, Solyndra. Here comes Siga-Gate. This latest Chicago-style payoff on your dime involves a dubious smallpox drug backed by a liberal billionaire investor, along with a former union boss who was one of the White House's most frequent visitors. They're the "1 percent" with 100 percent immunity from the selectively outraged Occupier mobs that purport to oppose partisan government bailouts and handouts to privileged corporations. Ronald Perelman is the New York...

Dean: Employers will drop coverage under Obamacare Former Democratic National Committee Chairman, and doctor, Howard Dean backed a McKinsey & Co. survey today that found that almost a third of private-sector employers will drop their employee health insurance coverage when Obamacare's government-managed insurance exchanges come online. Dean told Morning Joe, "The fact is it is very good for small business. There was a McKinsey study, which the Democrats don't like, but I do, and I think its true. Most small businesses are not going to be in the health insurance business anymore after this thing goes into effect." http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confidential/dean-employers-will-drop-coverage-under-obamacare

Former Utah Gov. John Huntsmans campaign for the GOP presidential nomination garnered support from an unusual source when former Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean praised his candidacy. Huntsman is the kind of candidate that gives the Democratic Party nightmares, Dean confided. Hes smart, well-informed, articulate, and on the right side on most of the issueshed be a great candidate for the Democratic nomination. Thats why President Obama tried to keep him out of the running by appointing him ambassador to China. Unfortunately, he quit that gig and is back posing a threat. Luckily for us, though, Republican voters are too...

Is not an endorsement that former Utah Gov. John Huntsman likely asked for, but his stances on the various policy dilemmas of our time has won the favor of Howard Dean. On MSNBCs Tuesday broadcast of Morning Joe, the former Democratic National Committee chairman and Vermont governor praised Huntsman, especially as the way stacks up against other GOP contenders. I dont mean to be catty, but this is a great line, Dean said. This is true. Jacob wrote this was the thinking mans candidate. There arent any thinking people in the Republican Party. Im serious. Name a few thoughtful policy...

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean predicted that prominent political supporters of former President George W. Bush will deal a critical blow to Texas Gov. Rick Perrys (R) presidential campaign. The Bush people dont fool around, as you know, Dean said Tuesday night on MSNBC. You can say a lot of things about Bushs presidency and his failures as president, but one thing nobody should say [anything] bad about [is] his political team. They know what theyre doing, and they are ruthless, and they are going to take Perry out. Deans comments come as a number of former Bush...

President Obama: "It's been a long, tough journey. But we have made some incredible strides together. Yes, we have. But the thing that we all ought to remember is that as much as good as we have done, precisely because the challenges were so daunting, precisely because we we were inheriting so many challenges, that we're not even halfway there yet. When I said `change we can believe in,' I didn't say `change we could believe in tomorrow.' Not change we can believe in next week. We knew this was going to take time because we've got this big, messy,...
